THE MISSION
~join us on the adventure~
The Mission is a church that exists to equip and grow the family of Jesus Christ. We're passionate about our mission to "Introduce Jesus to a Waiting World", and feel compelled to see everyone getting to play a part in God's Great Story. As such we fervently champion the raising up and releasing of leaders as a key undertaking of what we are called to do. We believe each person holds a piece of the bigger story, and that all are being called in this time to bring their piece forward.
We don't hold to a traditional meeting structure, but instead look to launch multiplying satellite groups in homes. We currently have a focused presence in South West London and Surrey, with a vision to expand our geography as we go.
As a church we hold fast to our belief in Biblical Kingdom Theology, the strength of meeting together, power in The Holy Spirit, worship, spiritual giftings. We see ourselves as one church, we're a registered charity, and we maintain central governance, leadership and macro decision making.

MISSION STATIONS

On Sundays we meet in small, multiplying groups called Mission Stations. Mission Stations operate as micro-church gatherings and discipleship groups. In these gatherings we get to know each other, share in the Word and worship together. Discipleship and inviting others to know Jesus is at the heart of what we do. Mission Station leaders share the vision, values and core theology of The Mission. Alongside leading the groups, the heart of our mission station leaders is to raise up others to "go and do the same", and it's always always a privilege for us to get to set new leaders and new groups in place. We currently have mission stations meeting in Southfields and Surbiton.
MISSION FIRES

Mission Fires are small groups that gather around a common gifting or interest, with Jesus always at the very centre. These groups can serve as spaces for activating ministry interests such as prayer / worship, or for strengthening the church community, or as outreach platforms and a safe space for visitors to explore the heart of the church culture or the christian faith.
"Friday Fires" in Esher provides a space for secondary school youth who love to hang out, literally, around a fire pit, discuss the gospel, and then continue chatting away throughout the evening.
ALL CHURCH SUNDAYS

We hold fast to remaining connected as one church and as such we all meet together regularly. We hold a combined Sunday gathering once a month. These are times of encounter, worship, connection, encouragement, stories, and all-round spurring each other on. It’s a time to honour each other, serve each other and champion other groups. In addition to our monthly all-church Sundays, all church moments also include worship evenings, equipping times, weekends away, or just good social fun. All Church gatherings are also great moments for remembering that we're all part of a story much bigger than ourselves.
Our 3 connection pillars position us for attaining our mission and vision:
